As a Senior Financial Advisor with Wipfli Hewins Investment Advisors, Mark Albers adds a diverse perspective to financial advising for his clients due to his vast tax management experience, making him an invaluable resource that can handle nearly every planning aspect of a client’s long term financial goals. 

Mark aims to not only develop a complete financial plan for each client, but to also make it understandable for them. “I want clients to have a sense of comfort and security with this key part of their lives so that they can fully enjoy the rest. What drew me to this role from my tax practice was the ability to help clients on a more comprehensive level.”

Mark graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater with a BBA in Accounting. Thereafter he earned a Masters of Science in Taxation from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He also holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designations as well as a Series 65 license. Mark’s education allows him to bring an analytical, objective, and empirical approach to his financial planning and investment advisory strategies. 

Prior to joining Wipfli Hewins, Mark spent over five years at Wipfli LLP in their tax department, most recently as a Tax Manager. At Wipfli Mark refined his comprehensive planning approach, assisting clients with income, estate, retirement, tax, and charitable giving planning. 

As a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Mark upholds the highest service practices and ethical standards. 

In his free time, Mark enjoys being with his extended family in the Green Bay area as well as challenging himself through many endurance competitions, such as triathlons and marathons.
