As an attorney, Dean Stange has been providing estate and business planning for over 17 years.  During his career, Dean assisted clients in both basic and advanced estate planning areas, including preparation of wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, marital property agreements and gift and estate tax planning.  Dean also handled probate matters and represented fiduciaries as well as beneficiaries.

This past experience gives Dean unique insight into how business ownership, tax issues and estate planning affect a client’s financial future.  Dean is able to provide added value by identifying and implementing the client’s overall wealth management approach.  As a Senior Financial Advisor with Wipfli Hewins, Dean meets personally with clients to assess their current financial situation and plans to accomplish their long-term financial goals.  By connecting and analyzing the various pieces of a client’s financial situation, he is able to recommend opportunities for a secure financial outlook.

During his time as an attorney with one of Wisconsin’s largest law firms, Dean also represented businesses with regard to formation, succession planning, as well as the purchase and sale of business assets.  Dean’s understanding of every stage of a business enables him to see all angles of a business’ life span and makes it easy for him to point out risks and opportunities to his business clients with clarity and confidence.

Raised on a Wisconsin dairy farm, Dean learned the importance of hard work and honesty and has used those values throughout his career.  Dean is a proud member of the State Bar of Wisconsin; serves on the Madison Estate Council as well the Village of Mt. Horeb Public Works Committee.  In his spare time, Dean enjoys history and traveling with his wife and children.  He also works with youth as a basketball coach.
